Today I tried again to capture the atmosphere of a park nearby Ponta Delgada, Azores.
Heute wieder im Naturpark gemalt (São Miguel, Reserva florestal de recreio do Pinhal da Paz) Das Licht wechselt ständig, sodass man schlecht entscheiden kann, wo es hell und wo es schattig ist, aber das Durcheinander von Grüntönen, durchzogen von der ziegelroten Erde, das stimmt…
Une fois de plus j´ai essayé de saisir l´atmosphère du parc naturel sur l´ile de São Miguel. La lumière change tout le temps, ce qui rend la composition difficile mais je crois avoir rendu un peu la complexité des tonalités vertes striées par le rouge de la terre.

Cuba
As the January weather is still bad, I decided to make a virtual trip to Cuba – to the Valle de Viñales. It was sunny and wonderful. Aletha Kuschan https://alethakuschan.wordpress.com/ follows the same strategy: painting sunny and colourful landscapes in winter.
Das Wetter bleibt weiterhin grau, also habe ich mich nach dem letzten Bild (tropisches Bad Birnbach) entschieden, weiter zu träumen. Diesmal habe ich mir im Internet das Vinales Tal in Kuba angeschaut und mir vorgestellt, dort zu sein. Es war warm, sonnig, weit und wunderbar…Diese Strategie, einfach im Winter sonnige Landschaften zu malen verfolgt auch Aletha Kuschan https://alethakuschan.wordpress.com/
